Counselor
Dana has served as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Community Downtown since 2009. She provides individual counseling to women and children as well as clinical supervision of intern students. One of her favorite things is to watch people change and grow as they learn to see themselves and their circumstances through God's truth rather than the Satan's lies. Her previous work experience includes working with youth in the justice system, individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and victims/survivors of domestic violence and trauma. Dana is married to Shane and has three adult step-children: Scott (and his wife Dania), Sarah, and Derek.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up:
I wanted to be a professor at Gallaudet University (premier college for individuals who were deaf or hard of hearing).
Biggest pet peeve:
When pillows are not arranged in a neat and organized fashion.
Something you love to do:
I love to grow flowers and make floral arrangement to give others. I always wanted to work in a floral shop.

Keri has been on staff since 2013 and currently serves as our Little Seeds Coordinator. She loves being a small part of what God is doing in the lives of kids and families at the CCC. When a child accepts Christ, or when a child hears a story from the Bible for the first time, she is ecstatic! When she is not here at the church, you can usually find her spending time with her husband, Steve, and her four children: Matthew, Anna, Ellie, and Megan.

I always wanted to be a mom and a teacher.

I remember as a child spending time with my grandparents. A highlight was when my grandparents came to know the Lord.

Office Administrative Assistant
Melanie serves as an Office Administrative Assistant. She serves our staff, members, and visitors who enter or call the church office. She is a graduate of Liberty University where she obtained a Bachelor's in Public Health. She has been married to her husband, Austin, since 2010. Together, they have 3 children: Faye, Lucy, and Clara.
Tell us an interesting fact about you:
Before I met my husband I had been to about 3 states and voted "most likely to never leave Virginia(my home state)". Together, in our 14 years, we have traveled to over half of the 50 states and moved to this beautiful state of Indiana :-)
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to be outside with my family or be alone reading a book.

Marcella joined our staff as a Mental Health Counselor in August of 2023. She provides counseling through Community Downtown (CDT) and loves helping others through God and His Word. Marcella and her husband, Vincent, have three children: Liam, Emmett, and Emile.

I am a mother of twin boys. There are several twins on my mom's side of the family, but in the last 45 years, nobody has given birth to twins on either side of my family. I thought it was very unique to be the 3rd one in my family to have twins after 4 decades.

Why do you love your job?
I love to help and serve others. As one of my purposes in this world is to help others unconditionally. As Galatians 6:2 says, "Carry each other’s burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Associate Pastor
Luke serves as CCC's Associate Pastor. He is responsible for all things Discipleship and Groups at the church. Luke is originally from Brazil... Not the country, but the town in Indiana. He loves to spend time with his wife, Billie, and his four children, Lachlan, Cyrus, Neorah and Galina. He is also an avid reader and active outdoorsman.

Frank Escoto
Pastor of Hispanic Community
Frank is CCC's Pastor of Hispanic Ministry. In 1985, he became a member of Iglesia Biblica del Señor Jesucristo (IBSJ), where he attended the Spurgeon Seminary, after completing his master’s degree in youth health and becoming a Doctor of Medicine. Frank served as a deacon at his church in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and directed the Emergency Medical and Disasters Ministry, until he moved to the United States in 2006. He is married to Mirna and has three kids: Francell (married to Timothy), Claudia and Josue (married to Paola). They also have 3 grandkids, Timothy, Adelle, and Mia.
Wendy Foster
Director of Administration & Connections
Wendy serves as our Director of Administration and Connections. She ensures connections and streamlines communication through the CCC body. Wendy served as Director of Children’s Ministries from 2006-2011. She returned to staff in 2021 to serve in her current role. Wendy holds a Masters in Education, Supervision, and Administration from Ball State University. Outside of the office, Wendy loves to spend time with her husband, Mark, and her five children: Jacob, Jordan, Jonathan, Dyana, and Yana.

Emily has been serving as CCC's Director of Early Childhood Ministry since 2008. She helps run and oversee the nursery and preschoolers programs at the church. Emily proudly graduated from THE Purdue University with a degree in Interior Design. Emily and her husband, Paul, have two adult children, Sarah and Rachel.

Elementary Coordinator
Kaylin joined our staff in 2024 and currently serves as our Elementary Coordinator. She coordinates the Sunday morning function of the 2nd/3rd-grade classroom and assists with all elementary programming. She is married to Nick and together they have three children: Lily, Iris, and Ivy. She loves that her job allows her to encourage kids and their families, answer unexpectedly brilliant questions, and watch small seeds of knowledge become full-grown faith in Jesus.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A ballet dancer or an architect.

The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, historically accurate fiction set in the 19th-early 20th century.

Scott Hundley
Director of Community Downtown
Scott is our Board Certified Christian Counselor and Pastoral Counselor. From day to day he provides leadership for a team of mental health therapists, counselors, volunteers and coaches who serve the community. Scott also provides oversight of support group services. His passion is helping couples and individuals find restoration while equipping others to do the same. Scott and his wife, Penny, have three daughters: Paige, Chloe, and Grace.

As CCC's Lead Pastor, Mike considers it an incredible opportunity to serve both the staff and the growing gathering of people who call CCC home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and their four children, Fisher, Olive, Sophia, and Everly. Mike’s desire is for people to know and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Mike is a proud Texan and holds a Masters of Divinity from Baylor University.

Director of Operations
Phil is CCC's Director of Operations. From campus maintenance and construction to finances and human resources, Phil keeps the church running and thriving. Tim is one of CCC's Custodians. He joined our team back in May of 2013. In the late 2000's, his brother helped lead him back to Christ after growing up in the church. CCC is his favorite place to be. For him, he feels the presence of God and the love of others right here in our church.

Erica serves as the Office Coordinator of Community Downtown (CDT). She coordinates and manages the office of Community Downtown and other related ministries. Hannah currently serves as our Director of Elementary Ministry. She plans and organize activities for elementary students both on Sunday mornings and at our preteen events. When she is not busy here at CCC, she can be found spending time with her husband, Tom, her two kids, Abby & Joel, and taking care of foster children. Fun fact, she graduated from THE Cedarville University in 2012, with a BA in Elementary Education and Special Education.

Early Childhood Coordinator
Jennifer serves in the Kids Community as the Early Childhood Coordinator. She oversees and plan the lessons for the Crawlers, Walkers and Explorers rooms which are the infant to 2 year old classes. One thing she loves about her job is being able to plant the seed of God’s word in little children’s lives. She is married to her husband, Pablo, and they have two kids, Lucas and Oliver.

Sara joined our staff in 2024 and currently serves as our Elementary Coordinator. She coordinates the Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms on Sunday mornings and assists with the planning and organizing of elementary events. She is married to Matt and together they have four children: Aaron, Olivia, Isaac, and Eli. Sara is a graduate of IUPUC with a degree in Elementary Education. Jeff joined our staff as Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor in October 2022. He provides counseling through Community Downtown (CDT) and loves the opportunity to bring Jesus into situations in practical ways and bringing new revelations to those who are looking for answers. Jeff holds a Doctorate of Christian Counseling from Colorado Seminary. He is married to his wife Karen and have two kids: Hope & Grant.

Danielle is completing her internship in the Mental Health Counseling graduate program at IU Columbus. She is married to her husband, Josh, and together they have two children: Bryson and Ben. She loves being able to empathize, encourage, and listen to others share their stories. This profession has helped her immensely and she is excited to give back to others through this profession.

Larry serves our church as an Elder. He graduated from Purdue University in 1978 with a degree in Industrial Education. He and his wife Lynn have been married since 1978 and together they have two children, Joshua and Sarah. Brad currently works at Cummins.

Ryan Edgecomb
Elder
Ryan and Julie moved to Columbus in 1997 after Ryan graduated from Purdue with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently is an Engineering Leader at Cummins. Ryan, and his wife Julie, have three children: Dalton (Carlie), Madison, and Gavin. They also have one granddaughter Daisy. Ryan has been attending CCC since 2020. He has been engaged in audio-visual ministries, financial ministries, and church leadership for over two decades. He is a financial coach at Community Downtown. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys car maintenance and spending time with his growing family.
Ron King
Elder
Ron returned to his Bartholomew County roots after spending 25 yrs away. He has been a member of CCC since 2002. He and his wife Brenda were married in 1996 and have one son, Alex who is serving in the US Army at Ft Lewis Washington. Ron has been involved in different church activities and ministry positions during much of life- attending and serving in Bible Study Fellowship over the past two decades being one example. Ron enjoys entomology, fishing, exercise, and travel.
Matt Meek

Matt is a Bartholomew county native and life-long church attender, having joined CCC in 2009. He and his wife Christy were married in 1993 and have one daughter Ella, who is attending the University of Indianapolis. Matt has been involved in various forms of church service for most of his adult life, and feels honored to support CCC as an elder. Matt enjoys bicycling, archery, and all manner of DIY home and car projects.
Jordan Oakes
Elder - Chairman
Jordan has been a member of CCC since 2018. He and his wife were married in 2012 after graduating from Cedarville University, and they have one daughter. Jordan has led Tuesday Connection classes, volunteers with Community Kids, and is a budget coach with Community Downtown. Jordan enjoys outdoor sports, reading, travel, and working on various projects around the house and garage.

Brad serves our church as an Elder. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. He and his wife Ronni have been married since 2019. Brad currently works at Cummins.

Jeff and his wife Karen have been active members at CCC for over 20 years. He made a decision to give his life to Christ as a freshman in college where he also was taught to grow in his faith. Jeff and Karen have three kids who are all currently in college. Jeff has a desire to see others come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Christ. He is currently a member of the CCC Emergency Response Team and also supports the Community Kids ministry. He is honored to serve on the CCC Elder Board and welcomes input from the congregation. Jeff enjoys camping, bicycling, and flying a light airplane as a private pilot.
Corbin Smith
Elder
Corbin and his wife Ashley are both Columbus natives. They were high school sweethearts and married in 2005. They have been blessed with three children: Caleb, Addison, and Isaac who are all involved in many extracurricular activities. The Smith Family have been members of CCC since 2018. Corbin feels blessed and honored to serve CCC as an elder. He enjoys spending time with family, camping, boating, being outdoors, and working on home projects.
