Being and making disciples of Jesus Christ is our mission here at CCC.

Rooted in the study of Scripture and following the example of Jesus and the Apostles, we encourage disciple making as the active, intentional, and relational ministry of growing as a disciple while also making new disciples.  It is by this process that the Church has survived 2,000 years and is found among every nation, tribe, and language.  Our goals are to help you grow as a disciple, and to equip you to disciple other followers of Christ.

Discipleship happens in a group.

We become better disciples and disciple makers when we share life with others. Small groups are the vehicle for life-giving relationships built on Christ Himself. For that reason, we consider CCC to be a church OF small groups, where participants can grow together and encourage one another in the faith. We gather together to be known, and to be honest and held accountable by one another.

Small Groups

We have several group types that exist to accomplish specific goals for their members. However, they all share one common goal: to follow Jesus the best they can, together.

Our study groups help you learn the Bible's books and themes, and how to better understand and apply what you read. Some groups offer an online option via Zoom.

Life Groups meet for fellowship, encouragement, study, and "doing life together." Our Life Groups are what most folks think of when they hear "small groups."

A Dgroup consists of a discipler and 1-4 disciples. Disciples focus upon becoming better disciples of Christ, under the guidance and encouragement of their discipler. Our goal is that the disciples will then become disciplers to others, as modeled by Jesus and His own disciples.

Support groups help participants cope with and learn more about life challenges, in a safe, confidential atmosphere. Our support groups are administered through Community Downtown, our counseling center.

Our affinity group members meet to share a particular hobby or activity together in Christian fellowship. All of our affinity groups are open to new folks interested in their theme.
